Zackary Sommer

扎克大梁 (he/him) was born in San Diego, 加州, where his creativity and love for movement led him to dance. He received a diverse dance education at 跳舞ology Performing Arts Campus before starting at The Juilliard School. During his time there, Zack performed works by Medhi Walerski, 凯尔·亚伯拉罕, Jamar罗伯茨, Aszure巴顿, Rena巴特勒, Tiler Peck and Ohad Naharin. He has participated in summer programs including Springboard Danse Montréal, Jacob’s Pillow, Orsolina28, and b12 跳舞 Festival. Zack has been named a SPOTLIGHT Grand Prize Finalist, a Laguna 跳舞 Festival Scholarship Winner, and a National YoungArts Foundation Award Winner. This past year, Zack was a Guest Artist for Ballet BC as well as Gibney Company in their 23/24 season and will be joining Gibney Company as an Artistic Associate in their 24-25 season. Zack is grateful to his family for their support and cultivation in his career.
